I've seen plenty of soldiers swaggering around town and acting like assholes to see what kind of people soldiers are.

Well then maybe the armed forces should put a leash on the bad seeds. I have nothing but bad impressions of soldiers. They only evolve into real people after they're out of the military.

Migi, I did not see anything in that article that says that they were treated any different than anyone else.

They were taken off the plane 400 yards from the gate & put in an "extra baggage area". Now I have flown both civillian & military aircraft all over the world & have NEVER been put in an extra baggage area.

Nobody is asking you to bow to them Shadowman, nor do they expect it, on anything. There are jackasses wearing uniforms, in our LE, our lfiremen, our medical staff, you name it, all of them come from our society.
This has nothing to do with these 204 GIs & the chaplin asking for anything except to be treated in a civil manner & not like a group of lepers.

Well complain to the TSA. You might even find it's somehow based in "homeland security."

The blog you linked to and others like it, make it sound like this is some troop-bashing conspiracy.

And if you dig a little deeper you might find that the real culprits are the folks who comondeered the military to advance corporate manifest destiny, disguised as some comic book notion of good versus evil.
