The problem with the term "hate crime" is if you kick a gay man's ass because he's a jerk, you can be charged with a hate crime just because he's gay.
If you kick a black man's ass and you are white, boom, hate crime even if the guy was acting a fool and deserved a whoopin'.
It's ridiculous that you can't just kick people's ass just for the hell of it. What is this world coming to?! |

When the guy in the city (NYC) made "art" out of feces and pictures of Jesus, not one Christian went mad and started shooting people or went around blowing up other religion' places of worship. I thought it was nasty, but I wouldn't find myself reacting maniacally about it.
