Thread: New Mentions

A few times I've got a PH notification that said "1 new mentions".

What does that mean?

OK, I see. I click on it and it takes me to "VISITOR MESSAGES". But there is no message. But there is a tab all the way to the right that says "MENTIONS". I click on that and the Devil is right. It's basically somebody calling me a jerk again.

Thanks Babba and Devil, I was wondering what the hell that was all about. I've never seen that feature in one of these message boards before.

No I get them too. Sort of aggravating. If someone says your name in a thread, go to your home page check mentions and you can tell where.

My understanding is that you have to put an "@" before the name.

Now @Hariball,

Notification will tell you you have a mention. click on it, it will take you to your home page and hit mentions.
