    Exclamation [Please Read] - New Feature Updates* (last updated on 31st July, 2010)

    Whenever you list a forum/thread list , like Hotwire Announcements for eg, you'll now see a small arrow (as you can see in the image below). That will take you to your latest post in the thread.








    Also, incase you are not aware, there were twoo recent features added on the forum which you might like to check out -

    1- To bookmark any post for future reference, just click the blue icon next to the Thanks button below the post -



    To bookmark a thread, just click the button on the thread -




    You can view the bookmarks at http://www.politicalhotwire.com/book...=postbookmarks . The link is provided at the top of every page as well





    2- Recent Activities - You can keep track of what your friends are doing on the site. Follow their posts/thread....

    Your activities are viewable by members in your friends list only. It does not affect any privacy setting...

    In addition to the above features, I've added a new tool to help find all your posts and threads in a single click.

    On the toolbar at top, you can now see this button -



    The 'find your post/thread in this forum' is visible when you are browsing a particular forum only.

    On every thread, the O.P will have this button below his username (just like you can see on this thread).

    I am hoping this comes in handy while debating on the thread and addressing the OP.

    Adding custom usability which will enable a member to ignore any other user (excluding mods).

    This is a powerful tool. Presently, you can not ignore threads started by the ignored user. You can also see the posts (in collapsed state).....

    With this, you completely ignore the user, as if he/she does not exist on the board at all. You do not see any thread started by the ignored user. You do not see any posts as well.

    Hopefully, this will help fix many issues related to moderating.

    The above ignore feature will be active from 15th Aug.

    In addition to that, there will be a big update regarding the blog development as mentioned in the original plan.
