Thread-ban regulations

We bought thread-bans to make sure nobody is allowed to troll/derail any thread.

Over the course of time, it became just like a speeding ticket. People don't mind getting thread-banned ... and usually get away with murder.

So, let's have quantum of punishments.....

3 Thread Bans in a day = 1 day ban.

5 Thread Bans in a week = 3 days ban,

10 Thread Bans in a month = 2 weeks ban.

Heck i'm thinking that members with over fifty thousand posts should go under a more enhanced version of these regulations.

After all with so many posts they should know better and be setting an example for others.

Doesn't the forum platform have a warning system? It probably does, something like a red box that you tag a poster to inform him/her that they've been "warned"?

Lets see Red-Crossing by one already in this thread.....and are presenting Ideas as to how manys days people can be banned.
Funny how we went from trying to get members to post here to this.....from people just observing and hardly anyone posting up threads. Or engaging in any political conversation or discussions or even arguments. There are several sites that have all kinds of topics to Discuss but no one is in them discussing anything. Or there are hardly any members and topics are over a week old.

I would think the Banning from threads works fine.....the more they continue to do so the more they cut their ownself off from any conversation or discussion. Typically after getting banned in 3 or 4 threads. The individual finds another topic to discuss or study upon. Or even finds a topic not so engaging. Maybe even one with a friend they have in such and talking about that subject. We now have threads with music of all kinds here. People can even be in those threads and listening or watching a video, and chilling out. There are videos with poltical content. Videos of Music with political content. So there is way for people to go and chill out. There is also the arcade.

If Such is getting so bad with someone the mods should warn them.....especially after 3 or more threads that such could be leading up to a temp ban from the site. Even by offering them the suggestion to visit the arcade or video section to cool down for a bit.....is better than running people off the site.

Of course one that is just chasing someone down.....which I would be certain the Mods would know by time and all the threads that the person is following the other into, and if someone is being harasssed intentionally to deal with that issue with not only a public warning in whatever thread but as well as with a PM to that individual bringing the cause.

Perhaps a thought to consider.....perhaps not!
