    Plan B vending machine

Plan B at University Vending Machine

At Shippensburg University, getting access to Plan B, the emergency contraception pill, is as easy as getting a soda. Students can now buy the pill at a vending machine on campus, located inside the Health Center.

Good. Glad to hear it. Very logical.

Seems like a good idea to me.

I'm not sure. I posted this same thing on another thread and got a lot of comments about the user knowing the side effects and the advisability of talking to a pharmacist.

Does anyone give a shit about the side effects of what they normally get out of a vending machine and consult their dietitian?

Nobody consults pharmacist, doctors, dieticians, optometrists, neurosurgeons, dentists or anything of the like anymore. I say screw it, put them in vending machines for all to enjoy. Make weed and alcohol accessible through vending machines as well. I'm all for this actually. It's a brave new world.

It comes with pretty clear instructions on how to take it and what to expect as far as side-effects go. It's really not all that different from purchasing other over-the-counter medications, except that it does cause nausea for quite a few women. Plus, anyone with a high school education (not necessarily a diploma) would/should have learned about it in sexual health class. I'm pretty sure, if my memory is right, that I learned about the emergency contraceptive in grade 7, and again in grade 9 gym/health class.
