What are your thoughts on this? How available should BC be without parental consent?
What are your thoughts on this? How available should BC be without parental consent?
should be legally available to everyone, even without consent, but not without notification.
By giving minors birth control, we are saying go a head and bang everything insite, its ok, you are on BC. So you want you 13 year old daughter out doing it with every boy they come across getting how konws what diseses. Some say here is BC just in case, no, you are giving your permission as parents for then to do what ever they want, you are giving them the means to do it and you as a parent should be ashamed of yourself and need to take a good hard look at yourself. Teach your kid values and morals, take them to church, and most of all talk to them, listen to them and share with them. don't just hand them some pills and say here honey, but don't have sex. Become apart of your kids life and take responsiblity for yourself and your kids.
Birth control should be given to right-wing conservative children...! Inky
What's wrong Inky, did i hit a nerve and you had to wake up from your prance in the possies in left field?? Pills don't fix every situation. However i have to agree, a good prozac every now and then don't hurt
Ditto what "emt9903" said... people these days don't want to be "bothered" with the consiqueces of their actions.
You did not have the option I would choose - perscription only to all ages, with parental permission for under 18
Emt9903,wake up and smell the coffee, young horny teenagers are going to screw, whether
you give them the OK or not,my exgirlfriends mother and sister talked her into not putting her
16yr old daughter on BC,because ,"that would be like telling them its OK",the 16yr old now has
a baby she didn't want, she only wanted to cum!
ofcourse give BC to minors, they are least ready for parenthood!
Give them drugs and booz too, I mean, their going to do it anyway...
It's funny that all the ads telling parents to "talk to your kids about the dangers of drugs" and how they work "when they know you care"... BUT talk about abstanance, and NO WAY they won't listen, so just give them what they want...
Lots of kids listen to the abstinance side and do that. What would you rather have: 15-year-old mothers who can't handle the responsibility or birth control, since teens don't always realize the consequences of their actions?
Make it available to kids with parental permission.
