Austrian Government Study Confirms Genetically Modified (GM) Crops
Threaten Human Fertility and Health Safety

And yet the government outlawed simple labeling to warn you that your eating this stuff. That law needs to be repealed.

You really need to take a high school psychology course Mike. Two things -

1) Correlation does not imply causation
2) It is not always possible to generalise from studies done on other species to humans

Additionally your study does NOT debunk the benefits of GM food, merely the dangers of a specific type of genetic modification.

Yet one in two males die of cancer, the life expectancy has fallen, people are just plain tired, and the list goes on. For all I care you can eat this stuff till you die, but know this, every study says your wrong. These plants grow pesticides, if you think that is healthy for you I have a bottle of bug be gone, you can drink it if you wish, but expect the same demise that killed so many honey bees.

There are over 7000 varieties of apples on the market. Nearly all of these are the result of genetic modification of one type or another.

Also, orange peel contains a natural insecticide that is not the result of any sort of genetic manipulation.

Correlation does not imply causation. There are a huge variety of others factors which explain those issues, such as our increased exposure to carcinogens, people's unhealthy lifestyles, and the increasingly fast pace of modern life.

Yes but not with poisons. Look mother nature, God, what ever you believe in, does a fine job, we should not try to improve on that by raising crops that have ill effects. They found some of the missing honey bees bodies, their intestines were basically blown out. This happened due to eating pollen from GM crops. Now they are smaller and have a short life span compared to humans, but don't you think that humans will have the same effects? 1 in three people die of cancer, man when I was a child cancer was a taboo subject, not it is as common as the cold.

All of our current staples crops have come about as a result of genetic modification Mike - you don't honestly think a society could live off wild wheat or teocinte? Also that tends to be the problem with pesticides, they arent discriminate when it comes to killing insects that feed off plants that contain or have been sprayed with pesticide.

Rising cancer rates can be attributed to our increased exposure to carcinogens or by the simple fact that as you said, cancer was a taboo subject and thus may have actually occured as frequently as it does in the modern day but not have been reported.

Cancer was taboo simply because it was rare.

For the sake of argument, don't you think we should have a choice in the matter? How about cloned beef, don't you think we should have a say in that? I buy from a vegi stand, and have been for years. These stands are supplied by local farms, they have no GM crops, everyone of them are more busy now than ever. The unfortunate part is, they close in the late fall and remain closed until spring. There are other markets that contain no GM vegi's and fruit year around, but it is rather expensive.

I say you want to eat it fine, but I would rather you do that by choice, not by force.

Nobody is forcing you to buy commercially grown produce.

Like I said, I have that option, many do not, and worse yet many do not know they're eating it as the law prohibits labeling it as GM.

You have so much of yourself invested with the fact the government is here to help you, that you will never allow yourself to become wrong, even when you are. Thats not meant to be an insult, just an observation.
