    I Am Iran

I wish to be recognised by the world community. I have demands which must be met, these are not preconditions to dialog, they are an invitation to it. Put up or shut up, negotiate with me.

Your comments remind me of a story. As a mediator in a court case, a husbadn once said to me; " she is clearly unreasonable, just because I hit her and called her a bitch doesn't mean I was wrong.."

How do I explain this to you. If you scream and yell at people they will simply ignore you and walk away.

You remember the Aesops Fable don't you and the contest between the wind and sun to see who could get the man's coat off first? The wind huffed and puffed and all the man did was hold onto his coat harder. The sun radiated warmth and the man quickly took his coat off.

You might try some of the latter as opposed to the huffing and puffing if you want someone to take you seriously.

Interesting way to open (close) a dialog.

    Yah I am Canadian.

Please don't try the victim of American foreign policy victimhood stuff on me. Doesn't matter what country or culture someone comes from, basic courtesy is what we are talking about.

Now mind you I can understand that tone with New York Yankees fans or Philadelphia Flyers fans but let's not get carried away with this victim stuff.

Lol. I am listening. I just think its kind of wierd starting off with an ultimatum and show of bravado. At my age I don't wag my stick around. I am just grateful it works.

Two things. The first is I know exactly what you mean about the Yankee fans, they make me sick. Bunch of uninformed pretend baseball fans.

The second is I was going for realism. We've got people advocating dialog with Iran, well that's how Iran postures. I'm willing to play my part, I wonder if theres a one who will play the other. I'm Iran, I'm ready.
