    Reagan fans claim he ended the cold war, but you could equally say that the Soviet empire was collapsing anyway, and it was in fact Gorbachov who split the place up and radically altered the country into a market led economy with a free press.

    As for Reagan not starting wars or getting involved in wars. I don't think a few S American countries would agree.

    Well maybe Ron didn't totally end the cold war...

    But when he looked Gorby in the eye and said...

    "We can and will outspend you"...

    Gorby knew the writing was on the wall...

    Too bad people in Washington didn't listen to Patton when he said...

    "Let's rearm these Nazis and go after the Russians"...

    The problem would of been solved 45 years earlier and with a one world government which is what many wanted then and today also...
