The once magnificent civilization of Europe seems to be decaying before our eyes. The triumph of rationalism heralded by Newton and the Enlightenment has been replaced by the obscurantism of trendy post-Modernism. Europe threw off the shackles of medieval Christianity only to lose its soul in materialism and nihilism. Political correctness, which is now restricting free speech in the name of 'tolerance', has made a mockery of liberal secularism. The Europeans are losing their spiritual spine as well as their desire to reproduce, while Muslims full of fanatical zeal and ardor to procreate are pouring in. The Muslims are vocal about wishing to change what they perceive as a decadent European culture in favor of the totalitarian Islamic law called Sharia, which is the very antithesis of the liberal secular democracy the West fought so hard to achieve. Yet political leaders of all stripes go out of their way to appease the Muslim community. At present it seems likely that Europe will be Islamic within 50 to 100 years. How ironic that the loss of Europe will be due, not to brute force, but largely to a suicidal rejection of their own civilization on the part of selfish, disaffected and stupid intellectuals.

I would agree that Europe is destroying Liberalism with all this politically correct bullshit, not so sure about the whole Islamic thing though...

On the other hand, the big 4 US networks, plus 24 hour cable news programs, in their coverage of the global riots over the Danish cartoons, have declined to show any of the offending artwork out of “respect” for the Muslim faith.

To this day no major US media outlet has shown the cartoons.

Our culture is evolving but the Muslims will never take Cultural control.
See the veil row in the UK. People are demanding concessions from Muslims to our cultrue over here and it will result in a comprimise which works for everyone. The shallow showy culture of Materialism you mentioned... we get that from American thanks guys ^^
And just for further note, Europe is not a Nation or a Single Civilisation.

Europe is mainly liberal as many republicans would bitch about on here. you jump up and down saying we're losing our identity... we're not, we're adapting it. Our culture is evolving and political correctness is no worse here than it is in the states. We won't fall to Islam in the next 50-100 years. Good chuckle though ^^

We already know the American media doesn't have any balls. Can any thing else be expected of a culture which produces police officers with guns who remain safely outside a school while maniacal teenagers rampage inside murdering unarmed children?

You're right. I figure 20 years will do it.

Birth rate in Europe is really low and Europeans are dying out. But even in the US European-Americans are dying out. Their birth rate is not high enough to reproduce themselves. Aging white population of Europe and America wants to live comfortably and needs supply of a workforce. So, Europe gets its Muslims and America its Mexicans. Assuming things will be going as they are going, in not so far future Europe will be Muslim and America will be annexed by Mexico.

Whom to blame? Sure, emancipation and education.
