    Omar Al-Farouq

This just in: Terrorist leader who mysteriously escaped form prison is now dead.

CNN.com - Terrorist who escaped U.S. custody reported killed in Iraq - Sep 25, 2006

How convenient that a terroirst who could testify in the US detainee torture cases is now dead.

This guy gets caught and is sent to a maximum security prison, manages to escape and now that the spotlight is on torture and secret prisons he turns up dead.

    Here's an alternative story:

As a damaging witness to the prisoner abuse scandal, the guy is transfered to a secret prison and everyone pretends he escaped. Now that the secret prisons aren't so secret, he becomes a liabilty once again. Best way to get rid of the evidence? Stage a firefight and the witness terrorist turns up dead.

No witness means the US can wash it's hands clean of any improper interrogation techniques.

Maybe the US should do the smae of all it's prisoners. Pretend they escaped, torture them for information and then stage a firefight were they turn up dead.

Well, who really knows. But your right, let your buddies take care of it, thus increase the odds of avoiding suspicion.

I have a completely logical scenario, alright listen listen!

He escaped prison, fled to Iraq, and was killed by British troops there!
