I completely agree that this alleged atrocity should be investigated. The question is, what agency has the authority to do so?
Hundreds of murders, but hey, no need to get involved in a messy investigation, after all they're just brown people.
This government is sickening, and nothing short of criminal!!
U.S. Inaction Seen After Taliban P.O.W.’s Died
I'll start my own investigation.............
New Evidence that Bush Administration Impeded 3 Investigations into Alleged Massacre of Up to 2,000 Prisoners in Afghanistan
And find the bastards guilty!!!
Again, which US law enforcement or investigative agency, either civilian or military, is empowered to investigate a crime perpetrated by a foreign government on foreign soil against persons who are not US citizens?
The DOJ would investigate and the purpose would be to determine if the US was complicit in the crimes, if any. It is illegal to turn over anyone to another country if there is reasonable suspicion of possible torture. Or if the action of the US military, through negligance, caused unnecessary deaths.
I suspect that with some effort, the DOJ could clear out about half of the Pentagon.
No one has yet to tell me which US law enforcement agency has the authority under US Code to investigate a crime on foreign soil, against foreign nationals and not involving US citizens.
Which is why there are no grounds to "probe" the subject Afghan crimes.
Obama got it right. Again.
