Obama admin: No grounds to probe Afghan war crimes

Big surprise, hell he is real busy killing civilians.

This war and Iraq must end, you Obama supporters voted for that, now hold him accountable, or admit your error!!!

I completely agree that this alleged atrocity should be investigated. The question is, what agency has the authority to do so?

Hundreds of murders, but hey, no need to get involved in a messy investigation, after all they're just brown people.

This government is sickening, and nothing short of criminal!!

Again, which US law enforcement or investigative agency, either civilian or military, is empowered to investigate a crime perpetrated by a foreign government on foreign soil against persons who are not US citizens?

The DOJ would investigate and the purpose would be to determine if the US was complicit in the crimes, if any. It is illegal to turn over anyone to another country if there is reasonable suspicion of possible torture. Or if the action of the US military, through negligance, caused unnecessary deaths.

I suspect that with some effort, the DOJ could clear out about half of the Pentagon.

Which investigative agency under the Dept. of Justice would investigate and from what specific section of the US Code would they draw their authority to investigate suspected crimes on foreign soil which do not involve US personel as either the suspects or victims?

No one has yet to tell me which US law enforcement agency has the authority under US Code to investigate a crime on foreign soil, against foreign nationals and not involving US citizens.

Which is why there are no grounds to "probe" the subject Afghan crimes.

    Obama got it right. Again.
