Israel Accused of Weapons Experimentation, War Crimes in Gaza

The 47-member U.N. Human Rights Council (UNHRC) on Monday adopted a resolution accusing Israel of "grave" human rights violations against Palestinians and decided to set up a fact-finding mission to "investigate all violations of human rights and international humanitarian law by Israel."

Someone on the board said that he will wait for the trials, well with any luck the wait will be short.

The offensive has been described by Arab military strategists as the worst on the narrow strip since the 1967 Arab-Israeli war, especially since it involves the world's fourth largest organized army against a group of ill-equipped fighters in the world's most densely-populated territory.

Why are the "ill-equipped fighters" in "the world's most densely-populated territory?" Why don't they move to the outskirts to draw the fighting away from civilians?

I think it's a valid question. Hamas chose to fight in high-population areas, so that's the battlefield. If Hamas militants kept to the outlying areas, Gaza City would be largely untouched.

Instead of reinterpreting my question, why not posit an answer? It seems logical that if Hamas' primary concern is the safety of their civilian brothers, that they'd take measures to draw Israeli fire away from the densely populated areas.

That's a good point that the anti-Israel people don't want to answer because it destroys their entire argument that Israel is the reason civilians are bing killed.
