Well, I learned something new, thank you.

I use the term "Zionist Israelis" to mean the Israeli government and its military. I realize that a person other than a Jew in the knesset is highly unusual and that person actually doesn't "carry much weight" and is under unusually high scrutiny compared to the Jewish members thereof.

As I have explained before, I realize full well that there are Zionist Christians as well as Zionist Jews, and my dislike, (putting it mildly, of course), extends to them equally. (I was a Zionist Christian earlier in my life before I learned the truth of the situation in Palestine and still carry some guilt for my previous behavior.)

If not, I suggest that you study the actual history since the creation of the Zionist state of Israel in 1948.

Saying that Zionist Israelis were 'ravenous bloodthirsty terrorists' isn't stating fact, MMI. That's called an opinion, and it ranks right down there with other related opinions like 'Palestinians thrive on a culture of death' or 'Palestinians are bloodthirsty, murdering terrorists'. When being critical of either Palestinians or Israelis, people would be more inclined to listen if there's specifics and it doesn't sound like a rant against a parking inspector who's just slapped someone with a hefty fine...

When it comes to violence, that existed long before 1948, and long before the first suicide-bombing happened. And the violence wasn't a one-sided thing. The Hebron Massacre is one that stands out. What was that retribution for? If violence by Zionists is to be labelled as ravenous, bloodthirsty terrorism, then wouldn't that same description aptly apply to what was done to Jewish residents of Hebron in 1929?

The problem being that the more you say it the way you say it, the less people will listen. Generalised delcarations about the evils of Zionist Israelis just makes you sound like a blind, unreasoning hate-monger. The way you characterise Zionists as an undifferentiated bloc of bloodthirsty maniacs just makes you sound like a bigot. Not all Zionists are the same. Take, as an example, this reaction - from a Zionist - to the Knesset ruling that Jewish National Fund land can be sold only to Jews (bearing in mind they passed this law because the Israeli Supreme Court, packed full of Zionist Jews as it is, had found in favour of an Arab Israeli and ruled that the JNF had to sell to non-Jewish citizens too):

This is why people don't listen to you. In the real world, 'Israeli', 'Jew' and 'Zionist' all describe a variety of people with conflicting aims and sometimes wildly differing attitudes towards what is just, wise and practical. This repetitive insistence that all Zionist Israelis think this and do that is no different to the endless, non-distinguishing rants we hear about evil Palestinians.
