Bush declared that the latest wave of violence in Iraq yielded "a very positive moment in the development of a sovereign nation that is willing to take on elements that believe they are beyond the law." The Times headline?

Saddam did a good job controlling the country, yes. But he was on the way to building a nuke, and he was dangerous, so he had to be eliminated.

Building nukes is quite difficult and expenive - Saddam was willin to build nukes - but he had never hd an opportunity to do it - even before the first gulf war...

But creating chemical weapon is a good chalenge to nukes - much cheaper and much easier to produce an ipritus or something... That is the reason I , s ell as others who are no going to give up infront of muslim-arabic offencive against West civilisations), support second war in Iraq - As well I do support it as a continuation of war agains muslim terrorists - When Allies will start their crusade against Iran a friendly government in Iraq will be a good support.

Though Bush is an idiot IMHO, his idea is quite simple - In case a patient has a cancer a surgeon wont stop making an operation... Iraq has a cancer- muslim terrorists (its a fact) - the only way to stop a fanatic - is to kill him.

In case you didn't watch the news lately, the only offensives are by those "West civilisations" against muslim/arabic ones (by Israel, by the US and by Russia). Is there a muslim/arabic country occupying a western country?

Some Muslim countrys WOULD invade and convert a western country ... if they had the power to do so.

To keep on with your analogy, Iraq didn't have such cancer before the invasion, islamist terrorists weren't welcome by Saddam who saw them as a danger for his power. Your comparison would be better put this way: you didn't ask for anything, but you're hospitalized by force, and the surgeon who didn't wash his hands properly before the operation (because he's an incompetent dumbass) contaminated you with a disease, and then proceeds to butcher you a few more times to eradicate it (and again without your consent). So both the disease and the surgeon should get removed, imo.
