I do wish that Israel would withdraw all civilian settlements, as that contribute to the animosity, and do nothing for defense. However, I really don't think that the settlements are really the issue. If it was, we'd be more likely to see attacks launched against the settlements.
Care to speculate why this is the case? If the settlements are the crux of the problem, why are they largely ignored by the Palestinians when it comes to attacks?
