It is too late. He has done far too much damage for it to be repaired. Funny thing is, if we were to get a party in who could clean it up in 8 to 12 years, the public would turn around and put the GOP back in to mess things up again. Thus, the cycle continues.

The party needs to be rebooted.

Could you explain what you consider a Democratic Dictator to be.

No president who leads the United States is a dictator.

An American dictator is a contradiction in terms.

We are talking about the ONLY nation to ever hold a general election DURING a massive civil war.

You can at least see how non-Americans might view Bush as such though, right? At least admit that our world reputation is in the dumper.

France & Germany don't seem to be so upset with us any longer.

Most nations are only favorable toward the U.S. if we appear weak and compliant.

Like during the Clinton years.

You DO realize the phrase "democratic dictators" is an oxymoron, don't you?

And you DO know that Abraham Lincoln had his political opponents arrested, suspended habeous corpus, held people without trial, and shut down newspapers critical of his administration? He acted very much like a dictator.
