Recent events in Pakistan are demonstrating the contempt the U.S. has for the rest of the world.

It's ok for the U.S. leader to be president of the country and commander in chief of the armed services but it is not alright for any other country to do the same.

Man what in the hell are you talking about ? The obvious concern that the U.S. has with Pakistan is; after the smoke has cleared, who's has control of their nukes.

Completely different. The United States President is a civilian and as a civilian he's is the Commander in Chief, its part of the job description as President. Its the civilian control over the military. A fairer comparason would be for Adm Mike Mullen currently the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, to assume the Presidency of the US in a manner outside of being elected and thus controlled the military and the Presidency. Then the military would be running the country not an elected representative and he's using the military to hold onto his civillian power.

Every country has their own ways of doing things. If President Bush is doing so bad why haven't the people demanded hes resignation? Bush is a fine President and since we are a Superpower, we have a big advantage over other countries. As I said before if he is so bad, why have there not been massive protests for his removal? The reason. He is doing good and has broken no impeachable laws like Clinton.

it's programmed into their psyches. along with violence and jihad and living by the sword. and to not admit any of that.

blame is a defense mechanism. not sure if many understand the psychology of that.
