An American corporation funding the worst, most randomly violent right-wing death squads in South America? For profit? I would never, ever have imagined it possible.

Kudos for the US Justice Department for caring enough to catch them though... shoot. a US federal organisation that actually considers this illegal is major progress over the past hundred and twenty years.

This is a good move. But really we should have an international law and prosecution mechanism for this sort of thing. Chiquitta Bananas will only lose out to a competitor. There will be little benefit to the oppressed. And we pay more for bananas...

Surprise, surprise, Corporations are allowed to do what they want without a real penalty, but a US citizen/resident gets disappeared and tortured by the SS.
