Well, I was going to post this in "conspiracies", but it looks like it's actually for real.

Don't know if this the New World Order rearing its pointy little head, HOWEVER... look at what's going on here.

This is kinda what MichaelR was screaming about for a long time. Here's the way it looks:

Ukraine had an H1N1 outbreak. Then, people reported seeing small planes flying over the country, spraying

some kind of agent all over the place (kind of like they did out here in California, when we had the Elm Tree

Disease thing, and the Fruit Fly Epidemic, and all that - they sent planes to spray pesticides over all the

residential areas, that's kinda what it looks like happened here).

BUT - now, they've got over 10,000 people in the hospital, plenty are dying, and they're reporting

"plague-like" symptoms, meaning, their lungs fill up with blood, that kind of thing.

President Victor Yuschenko, has declared martial law, and they are quarantining people.

Here's why I was going to post this in "conspiracies", 'cause first I heard about it was from

    PrisonPlanet.com a couple days ago:

    http://www.prisonplanet.com/panic-in...-expected.html

But look here, here's a report from Zaire a couple days later -

    http://fto.co.za/news/ukraine-declar...110615730.html

    And, here's four days later:

    http://theflucase.com/index.php?opti...mid=64&lang=en

And, here's a YouTube from the same day: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GLXCF5CwCNQ

And here's from 10 hours ago:

    http://fto.co.za/news/ukraine-pneumo...111115778.html

They're reporting over 58,000 people in the hospital! !!!

Now, it just so happens, that Yuschenko is running for re-election... here's the Russian

report from TASS/ITAR (that's kinda like the NY Times here, reputable but kind of a "state paper") -

    http://www.itar-tass.com/eng/level2....1059&PageNum=0

And, they're talking about "postponing" the election, ha ha....

    http://www.itar-tass.com/eng/level2....6365&PageNum=0

    Right? Scary stuff!

    Pandemic (H1N1) 2009, Ukraine - update 1

3 November 2009 -- According to the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, the country has now recorded more than 250 000 cases of influenza-like illness, with 235 patients requiring intensive care. As of 2 November, 70 deaths from acute respiratory illness have been reported.

Regions in western Ukraine continue to show the highest rates of acute respiratory illness/influenza-like illness. The level of activity in the Kyiv area is also increasing rapidly.

Laboratory testing in Ukraine has confirmed pandemic H1N1 influenza virus in samples taken from patients in two of the most affected regions. As the pandemic virus has rapidly become the dominant influenza strain worldwide, it can be assumed that most cases of influenza in Ukraine are caused by the H1N1 virus.

As elsewhere, WHO strongly recommends early treatment with the antiviral drugs, oseltamivir or zanamivir, for patients who meet treatment criteria, even in the absence of a positive laboratory test confirming H1N1 infection.

At the request of the government, a multi-disciplinary team of nine experts has been deployed by WHO and arrived in Kyiv yesterday evening. Discussions with the Minister of Health were held this morning to brief the team.

Team members will now begin field investigations to characterize the clinical and epidemiological features of the outbreak. Work will initially begin in Lviv region, where reported numbers of cases showing severe manifestations of acute respiratory illness have been especially high. Two virologists on the team have started working at the National Influenza Centre and the laboratories of the Central Sanitary and Epidemiological Station in Kyiv to provide diagnostic support.

Samples sent by the Ministry of Health were received today by the WHO Collaborating Centre for Reference and Research on Influenza, Mill Hill in London, UK. The laboratory will conduct confirmatory tests and further characterize the virus.

Many questions remain to be answered. The outbreak in Ukraine may be indicative of how the virus can behave in the northern hemisphere during the winter season, particularly in health care settings typically found in Eastern Europe.

Given the potential significance of this outbreak as an early warning signal, WHO commends the government of Ukraine for its transparent reporting and open sharing of samples.

WHO continues to recommend no closing of borders and no restrictions on international travel, including to Ukraine. Experience shows that such measures will not stop further spread of the virus.

Gee now, that's funny, ain't it?

My sources (already linked), say that of those 58,700 people in the hospital as of two days ago,

only 1700 had tested positive for H1N1.

    Interesting, eh?

Yep. Last night after I turned off the computer I was watching a show on CBS. It was showing children in Afghanistan who are infected with H1N1. While they were showing Dr's struggling to help this one little girl ... she died. Oh my God ... I watched her die. It was horrible. I could not sleep after that.

I don't care what anyone says ... this is a horrible situation. We had two more people die here today of it. The Dr's are saying that 90% of the cases they are seeing is H1N1. I know most people get over it in a few days but I didn't. I'm healthy, no underlying conditions and it kicked my ass. Turned into pneumonia. They wanted to put me in the hospital and I refused. People there are dying from this shit. I just wanted to stay home.

You're gradually drifting further and further from reality, nonsqtr! There is no martial law in the Ukraine. The President is talking about imposing a state of emergency (though hasn't done so yet), but this isn't because of any sinsiter plot to rule the world (bwahaha!). Rather, it's a cynical plot to delay the elections that he's afraid he might lose to Tymoschenko. She, meanwhile, is similarly drumming up flu related panic so she can show everyone what a good little Prime Minister she's being by distributing medication; and to allow her to criticise the President for his failure to act appropriately in a time of national crisis.

You really need to check your sources better. You were convinced that the Prison Planet article wasn't just an isolated conspiracy theory because it was also reported in the blog of a South African conspiracy theorist! .co.za is the South Africa domain extension, by the way, not Zaire's, which would be .cd - for Congo, Democratic Republic of. Why not try to find out if this martial law had been mentioned in any news service at all? Even if there is some sinister conspiracy under way, do you think martial law can be imposed in a country the size of the Ukraine without it being mentioned even briefly in passing by BBC, CNN, Fox, Reuters, Pravda, Itar-Tass, AFP, AP, Der Spiegel, Du Monde or even, for that matter, the Ukrainian press?

Edit: The Jamestown has a good article from the Eurasian Daily Monitor on what's actaully happening in the Ukraine. I can't link to it directly here because the url contains square brackets which the board recognises as a tag, but if you go to their main page it's currently up there. Search for "Will Flu Spoil Tymoshenko’s Election Campaign?" if it's not.

    This mean zombie apocalypse? *sigh*
"While I am a great believer in the free competitive enterprise system and all that it entails, I am an even stronger believer in the right of our people to live in a clean and pollution-free environment. To this end, it is my belief that when pollution is found, it should be halted at the source, even if this requires stringent government action against important segments of our national economy."

NOW this gets interesting. Lookie here:

Today, the MSM are not talking about this case any more. Yesterday, they wanted us to believe that Joseph Moshe was a nutcase and a terrorist, arrested for threatening to bomb the White House. Interesting detail about his arrest (the “Westwood standoff”) was that he seemed to be immune to the 5 cans of tear gas and 5 gallons of law-enforcement grade pepper spray they pumped into his face. He very calmly remained in his car, as the video footage of his arrest shows.

Professor Moshe had called into a live radio show by Dr. A. True Ott, (explanation of Joseph Moshe’s call at 06:00) broadcast on Republic Broadcasting claiming to be a microbiologist who wanted to supply evidence to a States Attorney regarding tainted H1N1 Swine flu vaccines being produced by Baxter BioPharma Solutions. He said that Baxter’s Ukrainian lab was in fact producing a bioweapon disguised as a vaccine. He claimed that the vaccine contained an adjuvant (additive) designed to weaken the immune system, and replicated RNA from the virus responsible for the 1918 pandemic Spanish flu, causing global sickness and mass death.

Check out these pics: this guy sat calmly in his car, while all this was going on -

And HERE, is the guy getting out of the car, after all this happened:

After five cans of tear gas and five gallons of pepper spray! !!!

    Right?

    Google on "Joseph Moshe".

And, this entire standoff occurred, according to the police, because of "two outstanding misdemeanors".

    Do you believe that?
