    Re: Globalism?

    To me, globalism is ideal.

As long as the government adheres to libertarian principles, of course.

So who voted to support it?

I forgot to make it public, dammit.

    Re: Globalism?

I’m not in favor of a totalitarian global order governed by a self serving autocratic elite. Many conspiracy theorists seem sure that our world is currently headed towards such a state of affairs, I however do not.

I am in support of increased international cooperation, communication and integration. Free trade agreements, the formation of democratic supranational entities, significantly lessened border restrictions (if not near open borders between states), common regulations and interdependence are all important factors in changing the way political communities interact. Undoubtedly such changes will facilitate more peaceful relations and remove the negative aspects of isolationism, ethnocentrism and xenophobia from policy – while creating a more equal, wealthy and peaceful world.

The future has little room for petty nation states, ethnocentrism, isolationism and extreme forms of nationalism. A greater, and indeed superior order is emerging.

    Re: Globalism?

Oh, no then, I'm not in favor of a one world gov. The various govs serve as check and balances against each other.

The only reason people seem to think that there will inevitable be OWG is some crazy interpretation of the Bible. I don't know that interpretation. of course once the people put the idea out there then even non-bible believers jumped on the band wagon.
