A bomb blast next to a bus in Iran has killed 18 people.
The explosion happened in the southeastern city of Zahedan, the official IRNA new agency said.
It is thought the dead were members of Iran's Revolutionary Guards.
The bomb was hidden in a car by "armed rebels and attackers" and exploded as the bus passed by.
Military commander Qassim Rezai said: "In this act 18 Zahedan citizens have been martyred.
"Rebels and those who create insecurity martyred these people in a terrorist act by laying a trap close to a bus."
Zahedan is close to the border with Pakistan and Afghanistan.
It is the scene of frequent clashes between security forces and armed groups involved in the drugs trade.
