Yes there are radical Muslims who wish shia law to be implemented in Britain. But they are the 13% of British Muslims. And British muslims make up about 5% of the population. So you do the math to work out what a ridiculous claim this is.

We're more worried about the extreemist right the BNP or British National party who want to kick out everyone not of anglo saxon descent. I mean they are much more worrying because they actually have council members and i think maybe even a seat or two.

Not this tired old chesnut again. I agree Roach, I'm seriously concerned that the BNP will do well in the local elections in May.

Headlines like this really piss me off. They are deceptive and serve no purpose other than to scare people and embolden racists. How is it, exactly, British Muslims can be at a "crossroads" when such a slim minority represent this crazy way of thinking? "Crossroads", to me, means some kind of major split, half on one side, half on the other.

How is it numbers mystify people so much?
