    Ensign receives handwritten confirmation

Pay or pay, it is your choice, and be careful, else go to jail, do not collect $200.00.

    But it isn't forced...............

    Four things to note:

    1) Please include at least a paragraph or two of the citation you're linking to.

    2) The Democrats' Messiah and the Democrats are full of shit when they say there's no punishment for refusing to play their game.

    3) The IRS is collecting the fines, ergo, the Democrats' Messiah lied his ass off about it not being a tax.

    4) And the Democrats' Messiah lied about not raising taxes on the middle class. This is clearly aimed at people making far far less than the Mesiah's imaginary $250k a year.

What does this have to do with " the democrat's Messiah"? Last I checked, he has not passed any health care bill. This must have already been in place from the republican days. This is as dumb as the people complaining about Obama/s high taxes, when he hasn't changed a thing from the years of the "tax cutters". Just goes to show right wing puppets are just stupid.

He can't pass a bill, that's the job of the Legislature. All he can do is sign or veto.

"The remarks Thursday from the committee's chief of staff, ThomasBarthold, seems to further weaken President Barack Obama'scontention last week that the individual mandate penalty, which couldgo as high as $1,900, is not a tax increase."

I do not see Obama opposing it or trying to make some sort of alterations.

"Sen. Olympia Snowe (R-Maine) was the only Republican to vote with Democrats to preserve the mandate."

1 Republican in favor of this mandate...... yeah... "This must have already been in place from the republican days"

Of course there would be a fine for not having health insurance. A second's pause, and you'd understand why this makes perfect sense.

They're making it illegal for an insurance carrier to deny coverage to those with pre-existing conditions. That being the case, most people would simply opt out of ANY insurance plan until they were in need of expensive medical care, and THEN they would buy into an insurance plan to cover their existing needs.

Obviously this isn't supportable. You can't buy homeowner's insurance the day after your house catches fire, and expect the insurance to cover your losses. You can't buy auto insurance after you've been in a car accident, and expect the repairs to be covered. Likewise, you can't skip paying for health insurance, and then buy into the system as soon as you NEED the coverage.

Therefore, health insurance is mandatory, and it makes perfect sense.

Umm, knock knock...anyone home. This is all about Obamacare. It could cost you up to $25,000 and a tear in the jail if you do not have insurance. The poor are fixing to get gouged.

True enough, but he HAS claimed it as his, so it IS his Bill unless he veto's it, at which point it won't be his, but it'll belong to Congress again.
