Thread: Want proof this congress sucked?

Hoyer and other Democratic leaders say they are trying to repair the image of Congress, which was so anemic this year it could not meet a basic duty: to approve spending bills that fund government. By the time the gavel comes down on the 109th Congress on Friday, members will have worked a total of 103 days. That's seven days fewer than the infamous "Do-Nothing Congress" of 1948.

I too often criticize the congress, but what does worked 103 days mean exactly? Does that mean that is the number of days that congress was in session? Although I do still believe that number is too low, they do have a responsibility to their constituents which involves time not being spent in session.

It was republican dominated... no suprise there. Hell, they had fuck off and enjoy the ill gotten riches they raped from the world. No suprise at all.
