I think that the only case we have that runs against the grain of this is the case of Jose Padilla. the judicial system worked too slow for him. I think that he is a terrible man, but even so he should be tried as a US citizen in a US court. I would like to see him tried on a case of treason. Finally the justice system has religated him to a normal US court for trial. All is as it should be but it took too long.

Wars are unclean. They are not perfect and never will be. In wars throughout time, innocent people have been caught in the middle or have been misidentified. Shit happens. But it is war and that is that. Soon it will be more in the hands of the Iraqis.
