Thread: Voting on Values

I want to address the importance of the upcoming elections of voting democratic/independant for the sake of one of the most important issues- global warming. It is obvious the republicans have done nothing at all to even alleviate the problem and seems special interests play a more prominent role now in our new government.

It is my stance people should look past their petty beliefs this election: Abortion, Gay marriage, Stem Cell research, etc. and vote solely for the sake on environmental concerns. This is not a problem that will be addressed if things don't change and I actually take a conservative stance on some of those very issues. Please lets push for change and a cleaner, safer world.

I am a values voter....and I value freedom, freedom for un-born children not to have their brains sucked out. Although murdering the un-born is very high on my list, it isn't the only issue I look at.

The Republicans have problems, but the Democrats give me little to know reason to vote for them.

Global-warming has become an industry....what exactly do you expect the Democrats to do when Al Gore says we only have ten years to live?

The mistake is that you would give non-persons rights.

There is global warming but it is natural and not caused by human activity. There have been many swings of temperature throughout the earths history. there is no difference in this pendulum swing in earth's temperature.

We may have something to do with it, I'm not sure. Nor do I really care. The sooner we stop using fossil fuels the better.
