Thread: Mid-term elections: Which way is it going to go?

With days until the mid-term elections, I would like to know what way you all think the elections are going to go. Will the Republicans retain their current position? Will the democrats have massive electoral success? Or will there be a split down the middle?

Given factors like the slowing down of the economy after a period of steady growth, the 'Iraq effect', the debate over stem-cell research, and the explosive scandal of Mark Foley emailing tennage boys; how will these effect the mid-term results?

Ok, here's my prediction. Before this page is filled there will be at least one post about the one world order, don't ask me how I know, it's a gift.

The Demicans will win some seats in both, but the republocrats will keep their majority.
