Thread: Hugo Chavez is great!!!

I like Hugo Chavez. He has guts and brains to stand against American imperialism. He tries to create a NATO-like organization of Latin American states without membership of the U.S. If that happened the U.S. would loose a lot of influence in the region. He openly associates with Iranian and Cuban presidents against Bush’s foreign policy. I think he is great and hope that he will win his presidential elections in Venezuela.

This ones way too easy. I'll leave it for one of the right-wingers as I'm sure they'll get far more fun out of it.

I'd suggest starting with the law that makes a Venezualan publically criticising the government of Venezuala punishable by jail-time.

SO am I to understand that if the administration takes action against N. Korea we won't hear you bitching about it? I would actually like to see you try to suppost anything that is related to this administation. I have been waiting.

I'm not Inky, but my answers would be:

action against North Korea: what the administration is doing now is a start, but it is hypocritical and unnerving to treat real threats more leniently than personal agendized made-up "threats."

support anything that is related to this adminstration: I, for one, am racking my brain on this; I'll get back to you, but right now nothing jumps out.

You ara avoiding the question you say that N. Korea is the threat so if we were to take action there , Would you support it or find a reason to bitch about it?
