Thread: Kids with Guns

All of these school shootings... it's really creepy. I am in middle school ya know and I've had teachers give us polls and questions on whether an autorized teacher should carry a concealed weapon.

I am all for an armed presence in public schools. On numerous occasions such a person could have easily averted death.

However, this person needs to be QUALIFIED! No some whackjob extremist, with an itchy trigger finger, but someone stable, reliable and dependable that has a proven history under fire.

Unfortunately such people are 1) frighteningly rare these days, and 2) seldom teach...which is too bad, as in my experience they make excellent teachers.

Well, if teachers handle guns as well as they teach, I don't think so.

It might be a good idea given that the person went through a firearm safety course. I am currently a police cadet and will becoming a police officer soon. I took a 40 hour Illinois firearm training course that really helped.

You know that most school shootings are by adult's. Some are by the kids themselves but. MOST are by adults so when the teacher with a gun turns on his class and kills two young girls what then.
