Thread: You may be right

As my time grows short ( I am a single digit midgit) I would like to say that it has been a pleasure debating, arguing, talking, joking, in general typing with the lot of you.
I do have a ? to ask. Do any of you ever stop to think that the side you back is completely wrong?
I know I have sat back from time to time wondering if what the truth is,what is one to do when everything he believes turns out to be bullshit.
The reason I ask if anyone else has thought this is , I am a firm believer that if you read intelligent thoughts then logically you can't believe that you are the only one that gets it right. To think that you have all the answers is an emotional response not a logical one.
For example Inkster hates Bush , everything and anything Bush doesis wrong is an emotional response . To think everyone misses the point but him or that he is always correct is illogical.
Sparta,David young to name a few see both sides of many threads.
Others and I do like you guys but you seem to think the coin only has one side,Inkster,namvet,rrr and arab philos.
If I get internet in my area of Iraq it will be a pleasure to talk to you all if not it's gonna be awhile
In closing, You may be right, then again mabey I am , or mabey we are all wrong, but I would like to believe that I got some of it right about so did you

Of course, this is how I've come to my current political philosophy. NEVER disregard anothers argument, because it can ALWAYS have at least a little truth behind it.

Of course I've got some of it wrong, who doesn't? I try to listen and consider every side, but I also feel the need to make decisions of how I feel based on my best, lets face it, guess. You can't have facts unless you witnessed them, you can only try to determin the validity of your source. But to take a neutral stance and not draw any conclusions only serves to stagnate your view of the world. I'd rather voice my opinion and learn it was wrong than have no voice at all.

Thank you Raiden and I was not suggesting being neutral, I posted way to may threads for anyone to think that . What I am saying is that you cannot side and read all this information and not at some point think mabey I am on the wrong side of this .I am not sating that you should change. I simple asking if anyone else has had these doubts

I think the score sheet would show that I've been wrong more than right, anyone who claims otherwise may as well be talking to themselves.

At any rate ssg, be safe, I along with many others will be awaiting your return. Youve said that you don't do well with thankyous but you get one from me regardless of how you take it. I'm taking your quote as my signature until you come back stateside to reclaim it, and I don't much care for it so make no delays.

BTW. I hope you don't consider me someone who only sees one side of the coin, I try not to be like that, since I consider it unfair
