You're 16, you can't vote.

You can easily find out what the representatives stand for, call their offices, research them online, attend their speeches, and so on. Waiting around for a commerical to tell you what their plan is, is plain silly.

It dosnt but to the person who is not intrested in politics they manly vote for party Affiliation which is wrong.

I don't always vote for my party. I'm voting to re-elect my Governor, who happens to be a Democrat.
