Where is the truth? And who has it?

Everyone has theories (no, not conspiracy theories) about 9/11, Al Qaeda, etc, but yet we are all still in the dark about the real truths. These debates go back and forth, but no solution has ever presented itself. As much as I enjoy the conversations on the board, it gets frustrating knowing that all this info is out there and no one can pin down the truth. Or maybe someone has and we have overlooked it.

My point is that we have wrapped ourselves in the "War on Information", but there will clearly be no winner. Just like all the "War(s) on ________" we have fallen for, it just keeps us more and more confused. You (no one in particular) think you have the answers and you post them proudly believing that all your hard work has paid off, only to have a multitude of others contradicting and picking apart everything. We continue a cycle of confusion, animosity, and just general frustration due to the multitude of theories presented. This lack of info and "truth" we get from the WH only leaves us running the same patterns which keeps us in check. The more we learn, the more disallusioned we get over the whole thing.

The more we blame the Right/Left, Red/Blue, Rep/Dem, the better off the ones ACTUALLY involved in all the issues we expose are. They have us right where they want us. Constantly running in a Mouse Wheel. Running to nowhere. Stagnant and frustrated. We need to get over the notion that laying blame will solve the issue. Blame doesn't solve anything. I'm no where near saying that is what people on this board do, but it seems to be a general practice by the masses.

As much as I have a passionate desire to learn the truth, I have pretty much come to the conclusion that we never will find the truth. Atleast not in our lifetime. I won't devote too much of my focus and life to finding the truth because we probably don't know it's the truth when we see it.

We all look outside ourselves to find the truth, but maybe we should forget all the outside issues and look inside for truths. We all know our inside truths, but the outside truths are still vague and unknown. So why try? Why waste so much time devoted to looking outside while our inside remains frazzled and unkept?

    Let the bashing begin.

Great point! That's why I remain neutral with a lot of these "conspiracies". But I admit if some were true, I wouldn't be a bit suprised. But you're right, the higher-ups have us where they want us, in the dark. All people associated with power and money cover their asses pretty well, but on the same note, that's why they can't be trusted. ~Inky

I agree, great point Mark. I quess most of us are trying to make sense of it and how it happened with all the conspiracy theories and whatnot. I'm like Inky neutral well neutral as far as as demo/rep parties go.

I came across this clip, makes you wonder! They never found parts of the jets that flew into the WTC and pentagon...Wouldn't there at least be parts of the jets found?

No way, DUH! The planes were disintergrated from the massive heat generated from the jet fuel along with all the black boxes. I knew that would be the case as soon as I saw the first pics from the Pentagon without the broken windows where the wings would have hit. 8)

    It evaporated into nothing.

But seriously, I can't understand how the sheeple who believe the 9/11 Commission don't think about simple logic especially when it comes to the Pentagon.

    LET'S ROLL!!

Questionmark, the fact is that most political truths are pretty dull, and uninteresting. Add to that, most people want to believe in spectacular, concentrated and dramatic evil.

The obvious truths are probably the most often, but by no means always correct versions.

People at large want evil to be motivated by things that they can at once understand, and believe to be absent from themselves.

For example, in general Moderns construct elaborate theories to explain wanton violence. They wish to see great constructs of causality and logic to explain the actions of others and insulate themselves in the sure knowledge that they themselves are immune from the same causes.

They will not accept the tawdry fact that much violence is done from common and low motivations, like amusement, boredom, anger, lust, and experimentation.

Apply this to the current hostilities. Americans by and large seem unable to accept the simple fact that a huge proportion of the world now follows a very simple and demanding religion, the creed of which demands subjugation of Infidels, and expansion of the Faith. Islam also releases most of what we consider to be the normal civilized restraints upon behavior where the non-Muslims are concerned.

In other words, Muhammadanism it unleashes the baser human instincts on anyone outside of itself. This is a simple, understandable and terrifying state of affairs. And so people in general reject it in favor of complex beliefs involving secret conspiracies run by people that when the truth be known, they don't seriously fear.

The real bear at the door is ignored in favor of the monster from a children's story, because in truth, we know that the monster isn't really real.
