Thread: "Homecoming" - The Political Horror Movie

Have you guys heard of this? The film is called "Homecoming" and it's made by Joe Dante ("Gremlins", "Innerspace"). I guess the story is about soldiers killed during the Iraqi war that come back from the dead with one purpose... to vote, and the "conservative" president's administration does everything in their power to stop them. It created huge debate when it first aired and was covered in the New York Times and Newsweek, and I think it's coming out on DVD soon.

Some call it "scathing political satire," while others say it's "simple minded liberal propaganda." Anyway, I find the whole concept really fascinating and want to know what other people think.

Will watch it: what republicans call simple-minded liberal propaganda is always good to watch. If only to piss the off a little!
