Looking at where we started, what the momentum was at that time, and where we are now... should make it pretty clear that things have improved in the past three years. While it's generally good to have a divided congress and checks and balances, I don't think that it's working as intended when one takes into consideration the terrible partisanship that's plagued this government over the past 19 years. I blame both sides for this. I am not 100% sure what the right answer is... I'd love to see us (the citizens) voting out like 90% of the sitting government and give them a serious wake up call... we may not have the money that the corporations do, but we are the ones that hire and/or fire you. I don't think any President of any party can get the congress playing nice right now.

I agree with what you say. I am not sure whether voting out 90% of the Congress or Senate changes much. The Congress had a big turnover in 2010 and what did that give us? At some point we need leadership that manages to get Congress and the Senate working together for the benefits of the people. Nonpartisian behavior bothers me more than anything else. Not sure how thats getting fixed, but its not happening now with our current leadership.

That was a general statement regarding how you obviously feel about women. It was not intended to bring the abortion issue into this thread. You did that all by yourself, but once again, a conservative is blaming someone else for their behavior. I'll alert the media.

I explained why I don't like Santorum, and I dismissed your absurd claim. You doubtlessly want to passively aggressively continue to express your resentment about an ongoing argument in another thread because you lack the ability to actually argue in it.
