Get a dictionary. You'll find "offspring" is accurate.
"the product of the reproductive processes of an animal or plant : young, progeny" (Offspring - Definition and More from the Free Merriam-Webster Dictionary) product = Ex utero

But no matter. We're the USA, and not the United States of Merrian-Webster.

Thus in these parts, laws govern, and neither kings nor gods. So get a copy of the Roe v Wade decision, here: Roe v. Wade - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia That's more apt, here. We, as perhaps you've noticed, define human life differently than some might have us define it.

But you're free to apply your definition as it relates to you, just not all Americans.

While it's generally good to have a divided congress and checks and balances, I don't think that it's working as intended when one takes into consideration the terrible partisanship that's plagued this government over the past 19 years. I blame both sides for this. I am not 100% sure what the right answer is... I'd love to see us (the citizens) voting out like 90% of the sitting government and give them a serious wake up call... we may not have the money that the corporations do, but we are the ones that hire and/or fire you. I don't think any President of any party can get the congress playing nice right now.
I agree with what you say. I am not sure whether voting out 90% of the Congress or Senate changes much. The Congress had a big turnover in 2010 and what did that give us? At some point we need leadership that manages to get Congress and the Senate working together for the benefits of the people. Nonpartisian behavior bothers me more than anything else. Not sure how thats getting fixed, but its not happening now with our current leadership.

*looks at thread title* - Nope. It's not about abortion. Funny that.
As a Democrat, I take solace in the fact that the Republicans have nominated the guy who lost the nomination to the guy who lost the presidency to the guy who is now the President.

Blame yourself for your little tangent, then?

That was a general statement regarding how you obviously feel about women. It was not intended to bring the abortion issue into this thread. You did that all by yourself, but once again, a conservative is blaming someone else for their behavior. I'll alert the media.

I explained why I don't like Santorum, and I dismissed your absurd claim. You doubtlessly want to passively aggressively continue to express your resentment about an ongoing argument in another thread because you lack the ability to actually argue in it.

I actually didn't even stoop so low as to behave like you, just took a moment to correct your silly intrusion.

    Thanks.

I'm sure you feel much better now that you think you've put a woman in her place. TTFY.

You put yourself in your place.

A "progressive" is blaming a conservative for their inability to succeed at something, I'll alert the media.

    Four more years! Thanks Republicans.
"after 9/11 bush was polling around 90 percent. that means the vast majority of democrats and independents put partisanship aside and threw in their lot with the country and her president, and it was only after years of bush's abject failure that this support began to erode.

i've yet to see any evidence this move is even in the republican playbook. obama's got a D on his helmet so republicans want to see him sacked. period." Highway234
