It's a legal fact that personhood doesn't begin at conception, and that's the problem! Legal facts are arbitrary - the law says this or the law says that. The law can be just and appropriate or it can be not so, but either way, the law is what it is.

Sometimes our legal definitions are out of synch with basic scientific knowledge and / or the promotion of human rights. Our definition of "person" once precluded abducted and purchased humans of African descent!
    Agreed.

So why couldn't I get Medicare when I was 64.3 years old. (I had to wait until my birthday at 65)

Again you keep insisting an opinion is a fact. No one can definitively say when a human life begins & be factual.

For the same reason that gasoline still has the 9/10 of a cent and the end of the price. That's just the way it is. LOL.

    Heres another example:

Social Security is a legally mandated pyramid.

The definition of a pyramid scheme is:
A pyramid scheme is a non-sustainable business model that involves promising participants payment or services, primarily for enrolling other people into the scheme, rather than supplying any real investment or sale of products or services to the public

Social Security works so long as it is funded by the next generation of "investors", right? If that stops, it will fail.

How does it not fit the definition? It seems to on the surface.
