    If that's the argument, seems to be that Republican's are the one's monopolizing on race for political gain. Part of that same narrative is to make claims with regards so-called "liberal" ideas about race, and racism in our schools, by politicians and the media. It seems to me that this narrative, in of itself, denies racism. As recently as just this election, we had a candidate for President, Herman Cain, denying that racism exist. But, that didn't work out very well for him I guess. Oh well, such is life.

    No I don't. But it is my guess most minorities, as well as any group on welfare, don't even vote. I think the politicians who promote welfare policies appeal to the voters who don't think the poor have any other way out.

    Yep, partisan wedge issues are the life blood of the two party monopoly.
