Federal judge: "camping in a park indefinitely is not protected free-speech"

Park police can enforce camping ban, judge rules - CNN.com

Looks like a judge finally ruled what most of us already knew: camping in a public park is not a form of Constitutionally-protected free speech. It violates the rights of other citizens, and can lead to filth, disorder, and a health hazard.

    Sorry, Occutards.

Now if our Supreme Idiots would only rule on what most of us already know:

giving money to Senators is not a form of Constitutionally-protected free speech. It violates the rights of other citizens, and can lead to horrible economic crises worse than the Great Depression, debt on an intractable scale, and the squashing of vital legislation passed by overwhelming bipartisan majorities in the House.

    Sorry, Occutards.
While I'm in general agreement with the Occupy movements, I agree with this court decision.

It did lead to filth, disorder, and health hazards numbering in the thousands and that was just the protesters themselves, so I agree as well.

Yeah, that's what they told the vets after WWI too. Funny how only SOME people are entitled to petition their government for redress.
"after 9/11 bush was polling around 90 percent. that means the vast majority of democrats and independents put partisanship aside and threw in their lot with the country and her president, and it was only after years of bush's abject failure that this support began to erode.

i've yet to see any evidence this move is even in the republican playbook. obama's got a D on his helmet so republicans want to see him sacked. period." Highway234

No reports of the ww1 vets raping women or even crapping on police cars.
Maxine Waters told me to go to straight to hell. Doesn't anyone listen to Obama anymore?

No real organized attempt to smear them either...

True. I'm wondering if the whole 'disease and filth' meme isn't overblown. There were contraindications of this problem that were under reported in the press. Maybe we'll get a Poli Sci or media analysis of this in a couple of years.
Even when alternative views are clearly wrong, being exposed to them still expands our creative potential. In a way, the power of dissent is the power of surprise. After hearing someone shout out an errant answer, we work to understand it, which causes us to reassess our initial assumptions and try out new perspectives. “Authentic dissent can be difficult, but it’s always invigorating,” Nemeth says.

That's not what the Court decided, please do your homework.

The court decided, correctly, that people do not surrender their First Amendment freedoms just because they own stock in a company.

What idiots ever thought they did?
