I suspect that BB wasn't aware that there have been calls for Thomas to recuse himself over the ACA. If you restrict your sources for news and current events to partisan sources it will leave your knowledge base much like Swiss cheese. You end up with only part of the picture.

I'm not calling anyone out, I'm asking you with all due fairness this issue deserves, should she recuse herself?

We're speaking about Kagan and this particular issue right now. I know you're a deflection artist but let's try to stay on f'n topic here. Concerning this issue Babba....forget other justices other issues or what Blackbeard says......do you think she should recuse herself?

Democrats: Justice Thomas should recuse himself in healthcare reform case - The Hill's Blog Briefing Room

The thing that kills me is that if any liberal on the high court ever had a spouse as involved in politics as Thomas' wife is, many Republicans would scream bloody murder. But IOKIYAR.
You deflect real good. Answering questions is what really trumps you liberals. You can't seem to do it. Distraction experts, deflectionists, political hacks....you've all got that down. Can you answer simple questions? The answer appears to be no

With all due respect Justice Kagan, you were Solicitor General for Obama. You need to recuse yourself from this vital decision, your possible bias here obvious. You're ability to think this through objectively has been compromised, this is a classic example. Our Chief Justice recused himself concerning Gitmo decisions and that should set the appropriate example. Sit this one out, Justice Kagan, this a no brainer.

    Comments?
Only recuse if there's conflict of interest. (would line her pocket)

Past experience and thus a greater understanding of the subject is a bonus in my view.

No. There is no conflict of interest.

Roberts gave the appropriate professional answer. As he should.

He really didn't take a position on what his opinion was on her recusal decision (whatever it may be) because it isn't his decision to make. Always been a fan of Roberts.....

Exactly, but lets not forget this part also....

Chief Justice John Roberts expressed confidence on Saturday in the decisions by his Supreme Court colleagues on when to recuse themselves

Lets not trivialize what he said.
