Former president Clinton Bests Bush In Honesty Poll

All I can say about this is the following:

Who would you buy a used car from - The present crook or the crook who preceeded him? Bottom line here - Due to apathy, we got what we deserved in both elections when we selected one of these presidents, didnt we? When will we ever learn?

Finally, to the (Bush / Clinton) supporters here, when you compare your man to (Clinton / Bush), you arent really setting the bar on honesty very high, are you? Do you care? Do you really care?

Clinton had an affair and maybe he wasn't perfect, but he didn't lead us into an unjustified war, incompetence in FEMA and other government agencies, and he didn't push a faulty, personal-interest agenda that lost him the support of other nations.
I think, if I had to choose, I'd buy that car from Clinton if Bush was the only other choice.

The car I bought under Reagan in 1985 (a brand new Pontiac Fiero): the engine, located right behind the window caught on fire and burned in 1989. Thanks Ronnie!!

Humans are so silly. Everybody lies. We all lied in our lifetime. I mean, sometimes you have to, you know?

Ever man a suicide hotline? "I just blew my whole paycheck on blackjack and I can't go home to face my kids. I need to end this."

Truthful response: "You idiot! Make sure your policy pays on suicides so you can pay your family back in the process."

The Lie: "I know it's hard to overcome an addiction to gambling and your loving wife will understand if you check into this clinic I am about to give you the address to. They will help you with your gambling addiction."

I mean, even I lied. I was asked once, "Did you steal her playdough?" I said, "No Mrs. Burns." Of course I did. But I was 3 and in pre-school.

Thinking a Politician won't lie is like thinking a spider won't bite the fly. You know they can't resist.

I would guess that both Bush and Clinton would be quite truthful, relatively, in their daily life and dealings. If they hadn't been in public office noone would find either of them remarkably dishonest.

Nixon though... Carl Rove... Donald Rumsfeld... Rev. Sharpton... these guys would stand on the street and sell lies for a dollar if they had the time.
