though only being esatblished a couple centuries in the truest form- democracy/republic (aside from the roman/spartan driven republics with an oligarchy led by a tyrant) they have proved the most successful in that short time. america has never had a famine, a situation which has plagued nationalist gov'ts across the globe since 1100AD. america has survived war and kept cohorts at a controllable expansive rate (with exception only to the baby boomers), and america has only had a few disease outbreaks to naturally check the population.

no successful violent revolts have overthrown the people's gov't in america, and none will- ever. america has survived the three challenges to all of society: faime, disease, and war. communism has failed all three...

There is not plenty of oil because liberals and democrats have prevented us from drilling in the western hemisphere for the last thirty years. If we were able to open up Alaska then we would have oil. If we were able to drill off of our coasts we would have plenty of oil. You do realize that Iraq retained all the rights to their reserves right? We don't get oil from them unless we buy it. If this war was about oil wouldn't we have just taken it? Oh right you don't check facts. You just spew crazy theories. I forgot. The reason that gas is four dollars a gallon is that speculators are nervous about Iran and are driving the price up. Do they need to do this...no. Also as I mentioned we are not allowed to drill in this hemisphere. Also I thought Clinton was the enviroment guy. Didn't he have this guy with him...um....oh right Al Gore who was big on the enviroment? THEN WHY WAS NOTHING DONE ABOUT ALTERNATIVE FUEL SOURCES IN THE EIGHT YEARS THOSE IDIOTS WERE IN THE WHITE HOUSE?
