Striking a deeply partisan tone in his weekly Saturday radio and online address, Obama said the GOP leadership has chosen to "filibuster our recovery and obstruct our progress" by blocking votes on agenda items the president says would breath life into the economic recovery.
Note to Obama,
Hey dip shit, unemployment benefits do not improve the economy. When you borrow the amount, you pay interest, if you print it, you create inflation. Cancel your fucked up 3 new "free trade" agreements, along with the rest of them. Cancel the portions of the Bush tax cuts that rewards outsourcing. Close the fucking borders instead of using tax dollars to fight to keep them open. Moron.

Note to dipshit Republicans:
The tax breaks you gave to the rich will hurt this country much worse, and damn it leave those boarder open to people who will do the jobs that lazy fat Americans refuse to do who vote Republican.

You seem to hate the Republicans worse than you like the Democrats.
Here, I have a novel idea for you: vote for who you like, not against who you dislike.
That way, it'll break the two-party hold on politics and this nation will benefit from your vote.
Otherwise, you'll just keep playing into their ridiculous partisan game, and this nation will continue going down the toilet.

Obama said lawmakers' obligation to extend benefits is both moral and practical, citing some economists who believe extending unemployment insurance is one of the most cost-effective ways to jump-start the economy because it puts money in the pockets of people who are likely to spend it quickly.
Even as a conservative I agree with him.

Really? Why?
The scale doesn't make sense. Unemployment benefits are a few hundred bucks a month, per person. Let's do round numbers and say there's 10% unemployment, so that's 30 million people. Multiply by 500, that's about 15 billion dollars.
Do you think 15 billion dollars is going to stimulate the economy?
