Should the executive branch of government be allowed to suspend the constitution under any circumstance?

Absolutely not. The greater the crisis, the more important is the Constitution.

Then what is to be said about executive orders that gives the president the power to do just that?

The congress should consider them null and void, that is their responsibility. Hell man a president can sign a directive that states you have to kill your first born, but for the most part, I think no one would follow that either.

Do you like if a virus breaks out in NYC that turns people into zombies should the President have the authority to limit travel?

NYC residents are already zombies. What's your point?

The answer to the poll question is no, but they will do it anyway.

Um.... violations of the oath of office? Not high crimes and misdemeanors, although on a bad day they could be construed as perjury.

I do not think the executive branch should have the sole authority but yes, travel could be limited. My main point of all this is that the executive branch has issued several orders to take over all government in this country and I think that is not an American ideal but a fascist one and opens the door for despotism.
