I think the Nobel War Prize is more appropriate

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - U.S. Middle East peace envoy George Mitchell announced his resignation Friday, throwing a new question mark over the Obama administration's failed effort to restart direct talks between Israel and the Palestinians.
I see the prize, where's the peace?

Drones into Pakistan, killing in ice cold fashion Obl, bombing Gaddafi's children and grandchildren...and this lastest news of his failed peace initiative in Palestine......

This isn't a thread about those political issues, we argue those night and day. I'm commenting on Obama's Peace Prize...a deserved winner? Oldschool uncertain, how about you?

Somewhere, a bridge is missing it's troll.
There are two novels that can change a bookish fourteen-year old's life: The Lord of the Rings and Atlas Shrugged. One is a childish fantasy that often engenders a lifelong obsession with its unbelievable heroes, leading to an emotionally stunted, socially crippled adulthood, unable to deal with the real world.

The other, of course, involves Hobbits and Orcs.

Overall, think Obama is doing a decent job at handling a hell of a mess across the globe.

But yeah, that "pre-arrival" Nobel Prize Obama got was more than a little over the top. Sort of diminished any credibility/respect for the award the Nobel committee may have warranted in the past.

    Kind of a shame actually.....

Israel is not wanted there. I think everyone is agreed to that.

The Nobel committee pretty much scrapped their credibility the day they equated a cold, conniving politician to a saint-like woman.

Dead terrorists contribute to world peace. I'm for it. Not surprised you are not.
