    Bill Maher NAILS this one

He has all the virtues I dislike and none of the vices I admire.

I have a hard time disagreeing with that, with the exception on Religulous. That movie is awesome, and in the instance of this thread, he pretty much crushed it. Otherwise, meh.

Crediting Obama with killling Osama is like crediting Ronald Mcdonald for the extra cheeseburger you found in your bag...you should be thanking the guy behind the counter, not the clown.

Religulous was amusing, but it was a typical "man on the street" Hollywood-style setup where they interview 100 people then cherry-pick the 2 or 3 idiots who help them make their point.

The film was strongly biased to fit Maher's view of the world.

Denying the role of the President of the United States in this action, regardless of political party affiliation, is naive.

That's what Maher is best at isn't it? That's why I generally don't like his stuff. There are people out there who are far better at it.

True. I used to enjoy his Politically Incorrect show on Comedy Central, but he seems to have become full of himself the past 10 years. I don't know if it is just him become infatuated with his own popularity with the left or the bitterness of his experience of being booted off ABC after 9/11.

I guess my take on it all is that I would just like to have a civil conversation with a conservative in attempts to understand what it is they understand.. Carpe for example.. He is simply to bias and partisan for his own britches..

DW?? I would love to sit down over coffee or a pot of coffee in this case and pick his brain to see if we could solve the worlds problems.. But while him and I may come to some agreements, we still have to deal with people like Carpe or OS.. I'll let DW fill in the blanks for the liberals... _________ and ________..

It is the civility that this nation lacks.. We are not the enemy.. I have said it before and will say it again.. We all, both republicans and democrats are Americans.. Sad that we all can't celebrate the success of our current president in getting Bin Laden.. Some have to make jokes because they are so butt hurt that Obama did it and not Bush..
