I have started this topic over the Media and what they report. Whom the Media personalities are or even what form of media it may be presented in. Does not matter which Network or Broadcast. This Industry is responsible for influencing not only the daily lives of people but that of the lives of our future Generations. Watchdog groups have not brought the spotlight out nor even impacted this industry. The so called celebrities from national news continue to exercise their influence even to the point of telling those masses whom they should listen to and not to listen to. This would include any form of media....(i.e. newspapers, news magazines and all those occupations associated in creating or making up that which is knows as this industry.)

Today during the MSNBC show HardBall, one of the most watched news shows and by both political parties. Chris Matthews was questioning Pat Buchanon with David Korn of Mother Jones.... Mother Jones an Affiliation of the Democratic Media. As usual there is the constant interruption of anything Republican or Republican Spoken. But today was the worst breakdown of ethics( if any exist in this field) by a T.V. Anchor or host. Buchanon a Republican Strategist and Analyst, as well as a former Presidential Canidate was explaining a point concerning how the Democratic Media states certain beliefs concerning the Tea Party and about Matthews upcoming documentary on such. After all was said and done and as Matthews moves to another issue. Matthews then clearly states to all MSNBC viewers do not listen to Buchanon, he is whats wrong in this country.

Each and every citizen in this country should be concerned with this. Each and every citizen should do something about it!

My opinion on the media. Shows that are just for reporting the news, should do just that report the news. investigate and report. Opinion show, chris matthews, hannity, beck oreilly, racheal meddows, are just what i said, opinion shows. they take the news and give thier opinion. What i have a problem with is the News Reporting shows ignoring stories or showing biased. Opinion shows can show all the bias they want

Hardball one of the most watched news shows by both political parties ?????? Really ? Have you checked their ratings in oh lets see, the last two years.

More people tune into Peticoat Junction reruns on TBS superstation than watch Mathews.

It does not matter with ratings when it comes to Matthews and HardBall.......HardBall is required reading in many universities across this country. Politicians on both sides tune into Matthews and what he has to say. Hence him being on at 4pm, 6pm, and 11pm Central time. Notice Obermann (Mandyke Maddows, and any other political pundit or host cannot even get most politicians or other experts to their shows. Your point btw does give significance to mine. For how does a show lose ratings for 3 years solid and still be shown.

Yes most of the younger generations probably do not even know who Matthews is.........except those involved in the world of politics as well as all those going thru Poli-sci in colleges across the country. I was only stating the reality of the situation. Hence any of my threads on the Media and their personalities. I personally am not advocating on what I feel........as for the Pros and Cons of Matthews that is!

Last week MSNBC had a corrupt poltician(go figure) host an afternoon news and opinion show. Elliot Spitzer the ex-Gov of N.Y. Now Last Night Obermann annouces that Lawrence ODonell a former speech writer for a U.S. Senator will be given his own show at 10pm eastern time. ODonell also wrote the West Wing an NBC show. His take I know he was never there! Obermann made some sort of apology about temperary hosts which means things are being shaken up there. Yet ODonell will assist Obermann in going after FOX and all thing Republican. ODonell also writes for Arianna Huffington (The New Zsa Zsa Gabor of the Democratic Party) (Peggy Noonan of the Wall Street Journal is not to eye appeasing to the masses...... hence Arianna)

ODonell whom has both of his sisters working at MSNBC will now be in a position to really push forth against all Republicans and the dividing of the population. Yet he could never get elected by the people, nor by his own. Nor will he fairly report as to what independents are really about and will classify them as a Tea Party Movement.

On another front Lou Dobbs..... Mr Independent takes up with Tea Party Independents beginning in July. Could he mobilize all independents to seize main control of the Tea Party? Could he give them an Actual Leader!

Few things would be as entertaining as Lou Dobbs leading the tea party... oh please, oh please, oh please let it happen!
Take me home Momma and put me to bed. I have seen enough to know I have seen too much.
