100 days of republican rule of the house.. Still no jobs bill!!

After 100 days of GOP control of the U.S. House of Representatives, Congressman Joseph Crowley, Democrat of New York, is literally speechless that the GOP has yet to pursue a single piece of legislation designed to create jobs. It's a question worth asking House Republicans at every opportunity: where are the jobs? You've been in control for more than three months now, and you haven't yet passed any sort of bill to create jobs. What are you waiting for? Why aren't you interested in job creation?

Be sure to watch the little silent movie in the link.. I must admit.. I am at a loss as well.. Other than themselves, what do republicans care about??

The answer to this question is in the letter that Cantor wrote to all of the new House members a couple days after last November's election:

This will not be a sprint of 100 days or 100 hours. This will be a methodical march, requiring top to bottom reform, and focusing on producing results in three key areas:

    1) Jobs and the Economy,

    2) Reducing Spending, and

    3) Shrinking the Size of Government While Increasing and Protecting Liberty.
    Bearing Drift: Virginia's Conservative Voice
As a matter of fact, it would do you well to read the whole letter and the accompanying document: Delivering on Our Commitment: A Majority to Limit Government and Create Jobs.

Apparantly the Repubs can't count. Ignoring what they claim is their #1 priority while fanatically working on #2 and #3.
Please tell me what they have done to "increase and Protect liberty"? Any proposals even?

It's obvious you didn't read the information in the link...you only respond to the small part that I've quoted.

Read the whole thing. Then come back with your intelligent, reasoned questions....if that's even possible for you to accomplish.

Let's just hope the voters are smart enough to remember this in November of 2012!

I'm not the one that composed the priority list you posted. I responded to what you posted.
Are you fucking kidding me? A letter from Cantor to Republican House members "outlining SOME of his THOUGHTS on how Congress should be run" is fucking DOING something about jobs?

Just as we all expected, GOP control of the HoR has seen them use it to further strictly partisan goals, most of which are detrimental to America's interests & economy.

Yeah...I guess I shouldn't have expected you to read something...understand what you've read...and then correlate that with what you've seen in current events...and to leave your political biases out of the equation.

All your post means is that I should learn to ignore your posts since your utterances are useless to further any discussion.

Oh wait. You mean to tell me when a professional politician publishes "an outline of some of his initial thoughts" then it's a done deal, it's the very same thing as accomplishing something, other than writing the letter of course?
What does "some" mean? What does "initial" mean? What would thoughts mean as opposed to plans or a proposal?
Feel free to ignore my posts any old time lad. Face it, you just can't deny yourself your inept attempts to insult and/or marginalize anything i say. You're trapped by your own avatar of childishness.

Here you go...nitpicking again and avoiding the meat of this matter.

If you had taken my advice you would realize that...as I said...the answer to the article writer's question is answered by the letter and document I linked. In other words, the Republicans are engaged in their course of action to do just what the article writer demands..."where are the jobs".
