NPR ‘appalled’ by former exec’s comments - Yahoo! News

The Muslim brotherhood is good, the tea party is evil.

All the liberals here must love this bit of hypocrisy...

I for one am personally responsible for anythin anyone else on Earth ever says. Ever.

If someone in Calcutta cuts off his wife's nose... I am personally responsible for that.

Baby killers. Rapists. All my fault.

A guy I've never heard of hates Jews.... I am a hypocrite.

I hope you'll all join me in taking full responsibility for everything this man I've never heard of has said, is saying, or will ever say.

    I am sorry

NPR is always touted by liberals as moderate and/or non-biased. However, most interested conservatives see the left-leening nature that lurks within that organization. Schiller's quotes are not the only incriminating words to be found out there.

Let's see what I can dig up. Later...

He says quite clearly and several times. "I'm not wearing my NPR hat now" One of the fake Arabs says "We like it when you have your NPR hat off".
Are people not allowed to have personal opinions at TV stations? Did any of his ideas get onto the screen?
They didn't take the money that was on offer.

Sounds like this guy engaged in a whole lot of stupid, if he's really going to confide such personal beliefs to complete strangers.

But, it's an established fact that NPR is heavily dependent on federal funding. The organization itself is solvent, but its simply impossible for public broadcasting to reach rural areas without state support.

And regardless of what kind of bias NPR may or may not have (I'll admit that this combined with the Juan Williams affair proves that NPR's political news people are pretty blatantly liberal-oriented) it still provides a very beneficial service in its non-editorial news reporting, public education programs, and other completely non-political broadcasting.

State supported media is the exception not the rule in the U.S. and it is good to have at least some of it.
Say what you need to say, but if it is "everyone who disagrees with me is x," then do us all a favor and shut the fuck up.

I'm a liberal. Guess what, we all are. It's not about liberal vs. not, it's about progressive vs. conservative.

Oddly enough though if a Moderate or Lefty points to Fox being Right-leaning Repubs are quick to defend Fox and claim the are Fair and Balanced....

I for one like the NPR News..

This is quite a primitive argument. The situation reflects that reality is much more complicated.

    WOW!!

Are you that blinded by yoiur liberalness? Really!!

You cite his one comment with "his libbie hat off" and excuse that he was openly ready to take 5 million from the Muslim brotherhood for NPR? That you or any libbie can defend this behavior speaks volumes about the complete lack of character libbies have.
