    An ACLU statement said that 25 to 30 cases were “unjustified homicides.” US military investigators themselves identified many of the deaths as homicides, although there were very few trials or convictions of the soldiers involved.

    The ACLU issued a statement declaring: “So far, the documents released by the government raise more questions than they answer, but they do confirm one troubling fact: that no senior officials have been held to account for the widespread abuse of detainees. Without real accountability for these abuses, we risk inviting more abuse in the future.”

    Well, I don't know what RAWA is. I guess that was my first thought. In scanning your link though, the cases of homicides, which were identified as homicides by military investigators: wtf is that about?

    Why would it happen that there were identified cases of homicides, but few trials of soldiers involved? Lack of evidence? I don't get it.

    When I have time I'll see if I can find the ACLU links about the info. Sounds to me like everyone would rather just sweep this under the rug .....from the CIA to the Bush Admin to the Obama admin.

    I didn't attack that author. I made no judgments about him at all.

    I simply provided D505 with some background on him...and suggested that he might like the guy.


    Y'all sound kind of paranoid...imagining attacks where none occurred.

    In the past the ACLU, as well as Lancet have been debunked because they lumped ALL deaths together to arrive at their numbers. Can you show me who is claimed to have committed these "homicides" ????
